Eric's innovative approach to menu planning and culinary creativity have earned him a reputation as a skilled chef and visionary leader in Oxford County.   His dedication to excellence has created a culture of innovation and growth at IRONWORKS.  Eric's passion for food and commitment to providing an unforgettable dining experience makes IRONWORKS kitchen one of Woodstock's culinary gems.


Carly MacQueen
FOH Manager

Carly, our Front of House Manager, is nothing short of a hospitality rockstar. Her warm and welcoming demeanor immediately puts guests at ease, and her keen eye for detail ensures that every aspect of the guest experience is flawless.  Her leadership skills are top-notch, and she knows how to motivate and inspire her team to deliver exceptional service.  Carly's dedication to excellence is evident in everything she does.  Her attention to detail and strong organizational skills ensure that every aspect of the front of house runs smoothly. Matt Power is the Executive Chef at IRONWORKS kitchen.  He is our accomplished culinary expert with extensive experience in the food industry.  Matt is known for his innovative cooking style, which combines classic techniques with modern twists to create dishes that are both unique and delicious.  His passion for using fresh, seasonal ingredients is evident in every dish he creates, and his attention to detail ensures that each plate is beautifully presented.  Matt is a natural leader who inspires his team to strive for excellence, and his dedication to his craft is earning him a reputation as one of the most talented chefs in the city.


Paul Loura
Sous-Chef

Introducing Paul Loura, our dynamic new Sous Chef, whose culinary journey has been nothing short of remarkable. Despite his youthful age, Paul has rapidly ascended the culinary ladder, showcasing an unparalleled passion for the art of cooking. Hailing from a small town, Paul discovered his love for the culinary world early on, driven by his insatiable curiosity and an innate talent for transforming basic ingredients into exquisite dishes. He honed his skills through a combination of formal training and hands-on experience, quickly earning a reputation as a rising star in the culinary world. Paul Loura's arrival as our Sous Chef marks a new chapter in our culinary journey. IRONWORKS kitchen is named after the historical “Woodstock Iron Works”  foundry, established in 1842.  It specialized in manufacturing and improving farm equipment, kitchen appliances and more, utilizing tin, copper and sheet iron. 

Homer Pratt Brown, former mayor of Woodstock, bought the property from Edmund Deeds and Henry DeBlaquire in October, 1854.
